Kaity Kistler is a costume technician and designer based in Bloomington, Indiana, where she is pursuing her MFA in Costume Technology at Indiana University. She earned her associate’s degree in Apparel Construction from Orange Coast College in 2024 and graduated with a double major in Drama and Anthropology from the University of California, Irvine in 2026.
At UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts, she worked in the costume shop and assisted on productions including New Swan Shakespeare Festival, at the very bottom of a body of water, Dance Visions, The Green Knight, and Little Women: The Broadway Muscial. Additional credits include wardrobe technician on the Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, costume coordinator for the National Choreographers Initiative's 2025 and 2026 Discovery showcases, assistant costume designer for UC Irvine’s La Belle et la Bête, and stitcher for South Coast Repertory's productions of Million Dollar Quartet, Wish You Were Here, Little Shop of Horrors, and Galilee, 34.
